ANIMARE CON LO SCHERMO DI SPILLI

The days 9, 10 and 11 March 2018 in the spaces of Classroom Teaching Grosso Park Bologna was held intensive workshops of animation ANIMATE WITH PINSCREEN. 

The workshop, led by Alexandre Noyer, was focused on the discovery of the pinscreen through the practical realization of a short animated film. 

 
I giorni 9, 10 e 11 Marzo 2018 negli spazi di Aula Didattica di Parco Grosso di Bologna si è tenuto il workshop intensivo di cinema di animazione ANIMARE CON LO SCHERMO DI SPILLI.

Il workshop, condotto da Alexandre Noyer era focalizzato sulla scoperta dello schermo di spilli attraverso la realizzazione pratica di un breve film di animazione.

The intensive workshop based on approach and discovery of the potentiality of the pinscreen was led by Alexandre Noyer, creator of the modern version of the pinscreen.

The Festival DUFF will be held in the city of the croatian coast from 18 to 21 October 2018.

OTTOmani awarded in Niš, Serbia!

OTTOmani's short "Concerto per quattro strumenti disturbati" has won the award in Maxi category at "Constantine Gold Coin" Festival in Niš, Serbia.
The Festival was held from 23 to 28 July 2018 and the Children jury, composed of international and domestic participants from Colony of animated film in Niš was judging films for MINI, MIDI and MAXI categories.

Il cortometraggio "Concerto per quattro strumenti disturbati" realizzato da Associazione OTTOmani ha vinto il primo premio nella categoria "Maxi" al  "Constantine Gold Coin" Festival a Niš, Serbia.
Il Festival si è tenuto dal 23 al 28 luglio 2018 e la giuria dei bambini, composta da partecipanti internazionali e nazionali della colonia di cinema di animazione di Niš, ha giudicato i film per le categorie MINI, MIDI e MAXI.

"Maxi" category: CONCERTO QUATTRO STRUMENTI DISTURBATI by OTTOmani association (Italy).

OTTOmani association is proud of this result that he shares with the students of "Pacifico Valussi" school in Udine who made the film and thanks the organizers, the public and the jury of the Festival.

Percorso intensivo di 20 ore di esplorazione sonora degli ambienti naturali, approccio alla composizione della colonna sonora e attività pratica di animazione a passo-uno sulla partitura della colonna sonora originale fino a realizzare il film animato finale del workshop.

Intensive workshop of 20 hours of sound exploration of the natural environments, approach to the composition of the soundtrack and practical activity of stop motion animation on the score of the original soundtrack up to realize the final animated movie.

Venerdì 28 Settembre 2018 alle ore 21:00 alle "Serre dei Giardini Margherita" (Bologna) il workshop sarà completato dalla presentazione pubblica di Andrea Martignoni che introdurrà le sue opere sonore realizzate per il cinema di animazione.

Friday 28 September 2018 at 9:00 pm at "Serre dei Giardini Margherita" (Bologna) the workshop will be completed by the public presentation by Andrea Martignoni showing the sound works created for animated cinema.

Descrizione dell'attività del workshop:
Introduzione ai concetti di osservazione e registrazione del suono con successivo approccio agli strumenti di registrazione audio digitali.
Esercizi di esplorazione e percezione sonora, esercizi di registrazione dei suoni in ambienti interni ed esterni compiendo una ricognizione tra natura e città lungo il percorso del Canale Navile, limitrofo al luogo di svolgimento del workshop.
Elementi di tecnica del montaggio audio e realizzazione di una breve colonna sonora da utilizzare come base (partitura) per il film di animazione che verrà realizzato.
Illustrazione del metodo di lavoro di realizzazione del film animato:strumenti per animare, preparazione del set, analisi e differenze dei materiali proposti per l'animazione, animare sulla base dI una colonna sonora come riferimento per la costruzione del film.
Il lavoro sarà organizzato per piccoli gruppi sia nell'attività di esplorazione sonora come anche in quella della realizzazione del film animato. Conclusione della realizzazione dell'animazione sulla base della colonna sonora e proiezione finale del film completato.
Il laboratorio non richiede alcuna conoscenza precedente di animazione cinematografica o di utilizzo di stumenti di registrazione audio digitale. Tutte le attrezzature necessarie saranno fornite da Associazione OTTOmani.

Workshop activity description:
Introduction to the concepts of observation and recording of sound with a subsequent approach to digital audio recording tools.
Exploration and sound perception exercises, exploration exercises and sound perception, sound recording exercises in indoor and outdoor environments
making a sound walk between city and nature and along the route of "Navile" Canal, adjacent to the site of the workshop.
Elements of technique of audio editing and realization of a short soundtrack to be used as a score for the for the animated short movie that will be made. 
Illustration of the working method of the animated film: tools for animating, preparing the set, analysis and differences of the materials proposed for the animation, animating on the basis of a soundtrack as a reference for the construction of the film.

The work will be organized for small groups both in the activity of sound exploration as well as in the realization of the animated film. Conclusion of the realization of the animation on the soundtrack and final projection of the completed film.

Workshop does not require any prior knowledge of animation or the use of digital audio recording equipment. All necessary equipment will be provided by  OTTOmani Association.
